Did Minoxidil 5 % Work ??? ??? ???

hello
iam 20 years old.
the hairloss start to me in 19 and i start using minoxi before 5 months and
the Doctor told me to use it everyday one time in the night 2 hours before sleep
when i start the minoxi the hairloss is decreased but for now after 5 months the hairloss didnt stop 100%
i mean all time when i use minoxi i lose 20-30 hairs and when i wash it in the morning (with a normal shampo)
i lose more 20-30 hairs too .(hairloss decreased but still lose some hairs and didnt stop 100%)
what that mean that the minoxi didint work and didnt help me ??? because i hear that the minoxi
stopped hairloss after 3-6 months ???

when i wash my hair in the morning i need to use shampo everyday ????

yes i hear and ask the Doctor about this
but he told me that it have a many side effect
he told me just to use minoxi
and you think this number of hairs fail is normal or the minoxi didnt work ???
