It honestly sounds more effective than minoxidil through a similar method of action.

They noted no side effects.

In the fulltext, it lists a formula (diazoxide and vehicle).

How come no one's commercialized this? Anyone want to give it a try? I honestly might if I can find a good source. On Alibaba it looks dirt cheap.

Maybe they have and the results were similar or worse than minoxidil.

Probably has not been picked up because it cant be patented and as mentioned may be no better than minoxidil. It does however cause hair growth, if you look the side effects of Proglycem which a brand name of Diazoxide:

Abnormal growth of body hair, especially on the forehead/back/arms/legs, may occur. This is usually not permanent and will go away when the drug is stopped.
