I wondered if it has ever been tried to compare DHT-resistant hair on the back of the head with the hair which you usually lose at first which are most sensitive to dht. (hairline, crown etc.)
I always remember Frankie Boyle commenting about how scientists are too busy trying to find out how many fruit pastilles it would take to choke a budgie than solve anything!!
This is the key to unravelling the cause of hair loss. Once scientists discover why/how DHT causes a change in the hair follicle, they can tackle hair loss with different treatments rather than DHT inhibitors.
