Is there any way to know the DHT levels in the balding part of our scalp?

I know that a blood test tells you the DHT levels in our blood, but they may differ from DHT levels in the balding part of our scalp.

Hm...it's not so much the DHT that's there, as it is how supsectible the follicle is to DHT.

But to directly answer your question: see a dermatologist.

It's all about the DHT levels.

it's suposed that men with NO hairloss have less DHT in their scalp than men with hair loss.

Also in the Propecia medicine info , inside the box, it says clearly:

"Men with male pattern hair loss have more DHT in the balding part of their scalp than in other parts, resulting in increased hairloss"

So, i think you are wrong.

male pattern baldness is an auto-immune response. It's not that we have wildly higher levels of DHT in the scalp, but instead, the follicles we do have fall prey to that DHT.
