Hello,

I've been rapidly losing my hair for three months, mainly in frontal and temple areas. The blood test showed that the hormonal status (inlcuding DHT) are normal. I wonder, could it still be male pattern baldness or something else? I read somewhere, that even if the hormonal levels are ok, the concentation of DHT in the skin may be too high and the follicules may be oversensitive to it, which results in hair loss. Is that true? And, if this what happens in my case, what tretamnts you, guys, would recommend?

when i first started losing hair, my scalp hair would come out so easily. for every pull, 4-6 hairs would come out so easily.

you're basically losing your hair. you have male pattern baldness.

For the first 5 months, I was in denial and continued to shed around 50-60 hairs just by pulling. After that, I was convinced that I have male pattern baldness, and decided to do something.

Do yourself a favour, DO NOT BE IN DENIAL FOR SO LONG, because your hairloss may progress so far beyond recovery. I wish I wasn't in denial for that long........... *sigh*..... :(

basil.

could be something else, but if the hair your losing is in the shape of male pattern baldness... which it sounds like it is... then it's 99% male pattern baldness

i suggest getting on some sort of inhibitor like propecia.

frontal growth is the hardest part to maintain/grow. good luck man.
