Hello,

I got my results from a blood test and they are:
1.36 nmol/l ( CONVERSION RATIO ATTACHED)
0.34 - 2.87 is the reference range.

I'm 29 years old with a lot of thinning.

What does everyone think on starting at 1MG propecia a day?

But do you think maybe it's not the DHT that's causing my hair loss?

Man its the sensitivity to dht that determines the progression of your hair loss. If your follicles have an high sensitivity to dht you will notice hair thinning sooner than other person with less sensitivity with the same levels of dht.
Altought high dht levels will speed up the process and lower dht levels slow the same

If you have the genes for DHT sensitivity than good luck. Even finasteride might not be enough eventually where sensitivity grows enough that remaining DHT still causes male pattern baldness. Tough to say.
I think the older you are with minor loss the better finasteride will help you because your sensitivity must be less for it be slow and non aggressive.
