Here's my situation, I am 18 years old and would like a bit of help before consulting physician.
I have an Asian father with normal hair, who haven't seemed to have noticable hairloss. My paternal grandparents doesn't either.
My Caucasian mother has shed some hairs due to stress, however my maternal grandfather is bald.
I have shed hairs for as long as I can remember, but after reading about male pattern baldness on the internet I got really scared, with lots of sleepless nights., because of the maternal grandfather being bald.
After this I have an obsession of combing my hand through my hair to count how many hairs fall out.
A few minutes ago while looking myself in the mirror I noticed my front hairline is contracted in the upper corners, but also assymetrical due to more contraction on my left side, here's a picture of it:
I've never noticed it before, is this due to male pattern baldness?
Please help, I am so terrified.
