DERMATCH BLOWS MOFO"S

Ok, first, Dermatch doesnt blow, and none of my cool, fine, balding-colleagues here are motherFKrz (unless you fancy that type of thing)

I just was trying to get some attention
My rant is about Dermatch though.

I have correctly applied it twice since I got it.
Color seems good, cause my hair is jet black.

My one problem is after it has dried and been there for sometime, and I go to itch my dry, nizoral-treated scalp, my fingers look like I was arrested and fingerprinted!!!! It doesnt take much for it to rub off!
Did I over apply it? Or is that how it is? Cause I have gone form topic page to topic page and cant find anyone complaining about this. No one really complains about dermatch....and If this type of rant IS on a page somewhere from a past topic, then I am sorry, but there is 3trillion posts, and I could not read them all...

But seriously, is this the way it is? Did I do something wrong?
Im just a little pissed, cause the first day I use the sh*t, im like "wow, this stuff could pass off really well, and it wont come off if i swim, etc." (from what Ive read and been told)
Then I scratch my scalp for a second, and unknowingly itch the side of my cheek later on sometime, and left a black streak on my face about 3 inches long that baffled my friends who came over and saw my cheek painted up like like an indian going to war.
what gives?

Yeah I noticed that too. Try not to let your applier get too soaked in water, and then after you finish applying wipe all around your head with a few paper towels or a specially assigned hand towel.

Hope that helps.

I've never had that problem but be sure you're giving it five minutes to dry, not putting a ton of the stuff on, and brushing through your hair right after you apply it and after you've given it the five minutes to dry. THat gets the residue stuff off.

Same Problem

I had the same problem. Also, makes my hair sort of wirey and ceky, for lack of a better word. Great cover though.

Couvre

Someone suggested this instead. ANyone try it and have any suggestions. Also, the same person mentioned that Calirol hair color for men is like an implant in a bottle, at least in the post I read. So, Ive been thinking of trying that too. HE may have meant/said that it was couvre in conjunction with the hair color that is like an implant in a bottle but I thought he said just the hair color..anyway..just some ideas..

The WORST thing is when I stayed over at a girlfriends house, woke up in her double bed the next day only to my horror to discover that her cream pillow case had 6 inch brown stains across it.

Man that sucked. Quickly turned it over and left.

The thing is she saw me turn it over. God knows what she must have thought?!

Damn.

That's because despite the fact that it gets on your fingers if you scratch your head, and it does, Dermmatch is one of the best concealers out there so far. Until someone comes up with something better, we'll just have to make sure to not scratch our heads.

Couvre

Think its better than Couvre? I have to admit, aside form the things mentioned here, the stuff is amazing. I mean really, I know I am one of the people that mentioned its drawbacks, but, drawbacvks not withstanding, I mean damn, it makes you look like you have hair or at least way more hair than I do ;-) Thats pretty amazing if ya ask me ;-)

Hair Color

CHecked the post again and it does appear t say that Clairols Mens Choice is ilke a transplant ina bottle. Anyone have any experience with it or thoughts on it? Putting that on every three weeks sure seems to beat using Dermmatch every day, even as good as it is.

Dudes...use couvre!! No caking, just make sure to use hairspray, finish ect to cover up and helps prevent staining on pillow and on hands. If you have a "sleepover" make sure you blast the head well with hairspray. This will prevent the transfer.

Oh yes, I am the one that said Men's Choice haircolor rocks for short term major thickening.

Better

By the way, tried some of the suggestions here, apply as little as possible to get the job done, give it dry time, comb through a few times, and wipe it down a bit at the end..and I have to say, it did help. Is it perfect, no, it still comes off some, but, quite a bit less...and my hair definitely feels less, sticky, stiff, wirey, etc Hope you guys can find a way to meake it better for yourselves too.

I dyed my hair here and there the past few years and I agree it did help somewhat. My hair is probably a medium brown, I went to black I believe. I am very tan which probably helps too. If you have a very pale complexion it may hurt you, making the scalp alot more noticeable.

Subtle is the key.

If you have jet black hair, then you have it in your favour.

Be subtle with the blusher.
