Dermaroll After Transplant - How Soon?

How soon can I start dermarolling after a transplant?

After a month my surgeon suggested I lightly dermaroll before applying a serum then again after it has been applied to help absorption.
To be done every other day.

I did this initially, but I am scared it will damage the drafts, so I am doing this once a week.

When is it suitable to start dermarolling every other day again? I am using 2mm also

My understanding is the new grafts are placed deeper anyway, so microneedling at 2mm isn't too much of an issue. However, from my recent experience I felt the numb sensation for up to 2 months, so I left it alone til around 3-4 months, but if you feel that your scalp has recovered enough, I don't see an issue. Your surgeon wouldn't have recommended it otherwise.
I'm up to 7 months post procedure and doing 0.5mm daily before Minoxidil, and 2.25mm weekly, but take it a bit lightly on the transplanted section.
