I have been on propecia for 10 months now and iam wondering if i should use foam.

Well my questions are:

Will it help me?
How much do you think it will help me?
Is it worth it for my hair?
and will the gains out weight the losses?

The last pic is the best i can do to hide male pattern baldness , and i know what some of u might say that atleast i can hide it but i really want to get regrowth so i can spike my hair. Iam 20

Come on. your telling me you can't see my temples receding or how much thiner it is on the Sides? or how this is bad for a 20 age old. I cant spike my hair cuz i look 15 years older. LOOK at the third pic , big difference between front and back

Would Foam help or not?

yeah i def see some solid temple recession, nw2 or a bit past. it looks like more than a mature hairline plus i see miniaturization. you seem like a good candidate for the foam. i'd give propecia 2 more months by itself just to make it an even year, and then give foam a try for a year. if it doesn't give you satisfactory results, just drop it, and propecia should maintain the rest of your hair for you.

Thanks for the comments. The one thing iam afriad of is foam messing up the rest of my hair if I stop. check this out

The key to minoxidil is diligence. It must be applied twice per day every day for as long as the user wishes to keep the benefits that it gives. If one does decide to stop using the drug after it has helped to regrow previously lost hair, that hair will shed to the point that the user is at the point he was at previously – maybe even worse. There is still a question as to whether hair that was already there, meaning hair that had not thinned previous to using minoxidil, becomes dependant on the drug. Many speculate that the surrounding hair can, indeed, become dependant on minoxidil, thus discontinuing its use can lead to harming that hair as well as any hair grown as a result of application

death, i do not believe that. if you are on a drug like propecia or avodart that is protecting your hair, adding minoxidil to regrow hair, then stopping the minoxidil, shouldn't harm any of the rest of your hair being protected by propecia and or avodart since they're maintaining your hair.

I don't think foam affects your other hair. the only thing you lose when you get off foam is the gains the foam gave you. nothing more.

and the foam does not keep your hair. It just give you hair while you use it. You need finasteride to keep from losing more hair.l

I see the rescession. you are hitting NW2, and getting that M shape. No one will see it with your hair down, but start treating it now.

Definetly go for the foam. Your thinning looks VERY similiar to my own though my temples are in better shape. I am planning to add the foam as well, after I managed to stop my hairloss with dutasteride! Good Luck and keep us informed!

Ok guys i have decided to start THE big FOAM in one month from this day, I have three questions

What do you guys think foam will do for me?

Is there any possible way regrowth will kick in from propecia after the 12 month mark?

by when do u think something new and better will come out so i can stop the foam?

Ive been applying only on my temples and a bit further up pass my temple and the front of my hairline for a week now and so far no shed.
I hate the way my fingers smell after applying... smells like i finger banged foam pussy

Sorry, whats a forelock?

i have a question , i never really shed with propecia , it would seem that the little hairs that i have just disaappeared and never come back
so if i dont shed with the FOAM what does that mean? or Iam i use to loseing so much hair that a shed is norm for me?

Ill post pics on month 2
