Hello everyone,
I'm a 21 year old male with balding in both sides of my families. It's been in me for 6 years now. I got my share of insults of going bald from the jerks who had full heads of hair. :-x
Back in Summer of 1999, I noticed my hairline receding more. My aunt gave me Nioxin (she owns a salon) The back of my head was good until now. I stopped using Nioxin in the beginning of 2003.
I'm a Norwood 3, but it's thinning in the top now. I still have a frontal hairline. I wish I had taken action earlier, but I tried not to let it concern me with school. 5 hairs is what I lose each day. It fell out also due to stress. It has also slowed down very much in the past.
My older brother ended up the same way, he shaves his head weekly. He's 27 and has no hairline at all.
So editing the post and I have gotten a buzz cut recently, It still shows my receding hairline, but you can't tell I was going bald in the back.
