Hey everyone,just thought i would share my story and experience with male pattern baldness..
I'm a 19 yr old soon to be 20 male from australia and suffering from male pattern baldness,although it may not be as serious as some other people's,it still has had a impact and negative effect on my life. My family does have a history of male pattern baldness, my 2 uncles have lost all hair on the top and are only left with hair at the sides and the back,my father is in his 40's and thinning quite bad around the temples and top and his father is as bald as an egg, as for my condition i am lucky enough to only have a "V",or "horse shoe" harline and no thinning anywhere else and with the treatments out today,i know it can help me greatly,i have been on finasteride for 7 months and it has helpd me alot,i use to run my fingers through my hair and get 10-20 hairs between my fingers,now after 7 months on finasteride,the only way i'll get a hairs out other then a shed,is to pull them out,my hair has thickend up back to what it was,but then again i have to admit my hair was very thick aswell when i started finasteride,i think it was the fact that i know chances of me going bald from male pattern baldness is very high,and has allready began,forced me to take action rather then wait untill someone notices a thin spot on my crown. In closing i will be sure to post some before and after pics soon,i have them on my phone as a little test to see how finasteride would work for me,i didnt think i would need them untill i found this site,so i would be glad to post them on here and show you all my progress. untill next time,i wish you all luck with your treatments.
