What's up everyone?

Life has been extremely busy for me lately so I haven't had the chance to drop in. That doesn't mean I haven't stopped thinking about hairloss. I traveled home for Xmas and saw friends and family that I haven't seen in a year or more. It was probably one of the most difficult times to have any ounce of self confidence.

Overall, it was a good holiday season, but I have been losing more hair over the last 4 weeks then I ever have since I started balding. I'd really like to think that it's just this "shedding phenomenon" that everyone talks about, but the hairs that do fall out are extremely unhealthy, thinning in diameter and losing pigment as they approach the root.

7 months on the big three, 5 months on folligen, and 2 on spironolactone... nothing much is slowing down. The front third of my head is really thin now, it's a shame.

The questions that run through my head all the time are:
What would my hair be like if I never started treatments?
What would my hair be like if I never used minoxidil?
What would happened if i stopped using minoxidil?
What would happened if i stopped using minoxidil 15%?

DHT and the mysterious reasons for hairloss are a real b**ch. I'll put up some pics this week when I have the chance.

Ok, I'll warn you now.

Don't even tinker with the idea of stopping minoxidil.

I did just that and 5 months after stopping it and a MASSIVE shed later, I have had to re-start it again, in the hope that I re-grow it back.

Look at my pics for example, click 'show all' to see them all.

I will say this... Tom Haggarty is a very honest guy who is not out to rip off anyone. There are no ads on his board. The posts of success on his forum are absolutely genuine. Having said that, I tried the exercises for 8 months and it did not slow my loss. I am diffuse thinner and was fairly agressive, so I decided to give it a multi angled approach and go with chemicals and his exercises.

I hear ya bomb, I think of ditching everything I am on just about everyday and say the hell with it all and hold out for cloning. I am to the point now were I kind of regret even starting anything at all, and I just wish I would have saved my money. This might be due to the fact that I am not seeing the results I wanted nearing the 12 month mark, or it might be my confidence in the future treatments. I think you just have to ask yourself if being bald very soon is a chance you are willing to take by dropping treatments.
