I had a milestone on my path to conquer hairloss. This past weekend, I received my first comment about my thinning hair. I had a few friends over this weekend, and one noticed that I was going bald.

I've been on the big 3 since august '04. I don't think I've seen much regrowth, apart from what I regrew since the initial shed. I'm going to add folligen, hopefully that will thicken things up.

One thing I've recently noticed is that I've been getting a lot of miniaturized hairs on the sides and back of my head. Not sure if that's a good or bad sign though.

Anyway, I wasn't too bummed about it because I already thought my hair was getting worse, but I felt the need to vent. Thanks for reading.

Yeah it really becomes reality when other people comment on it doesn't it. That's when you realise that your attempts to hide it have failed

Eeesh! When other people notice that about you, to what are they comparing you to? What I mean is you may be actually gaining some new hair by your regimen and that is to be applauded BUT if some people are expecting to see you grow a new head of hair...THEY ARE BEING UNREALISTIC AND NOT REASONABLE!!!!

Take no notice of what people say...I remember being 16 and at school and people calling me baldy and i really did have a full head of hair back then...just a high forehead. Idiots.

When I was 25, I am 31 now, I knew I was balding. It really hit me when I was at a party and one of my friends girlfriends told me a had a bald spot on the back of my head. I went out and got Propecia a month later and never looked back. Bald spot gone and maintaining.
