Just recently I switched from minoxidil 2% to 5%, I've been on 5% for about 2 or 3 days applying twice a day and I've been getting these red bumps/rashes on my head they feel sore every time I touch them it feels like I've been punched in the head, before this I was on minoxidil 2% for about 4 months without any problems. What should I do? go back to 2% or stick with 5% and hope the problem goes away or 2% in the morning and 5% at night? I would have thought my scalp would have adapted to it after 4 months of 2%, but it didn't should I do 2% for another 2 months and then try 5% again?
Thanks

I was also thinking of mixing 2 bottles 2% and 5% minoxidil giving me 3.5% minoxidil solution which might get rid of the problem too, any suggestions?
Thanks

You might want to try Dr Lee's PPG free minoxidil. If the irritation continues, dont continue using the standard 5%.

try Dr. Lee's normal minoxidil

I have used Dr. Lee's PPG free minoxidil and his NORMAL minoxidil and I find that normal minoxidil is even less irritating than the PPG free minoxidil...

I would suggest you buy both and try...
