The Armando Jose from here wrote a theory that baldness is cultural phenomenon. I don't buy every aspect of his theory but it made me think about the things we does as modern lifestyle. One of the thing we do is bathing showering regularly which our ancestors back in prehistoric times wasn't doing on regular basis not often as we do it today.
Showering and wiping with towels remove sebum and some hair friendly bacteria from scalp and makes sebum glands enlarge.it has been shown in few studies that people with androgenic alopecia had larger sebum glands.
I am now take shower once or twice a week ,though is don't see any improvement in hair count I do see hair growth rate is substantially increased as compared to past. What your say on this.?
