I cut two pills into 6ths every twelve days (for about 1.5 years now) and place them in a little pill case to avoid moisture and the pills are just fine. The pills do absorb moisture in the air over time, so you don't want to cut up too many pills at one time and you want to store them in way to reduce their exposure to air. At a minimum you can certainly cut up one pill every five or six days depending on your desired dosage.
