cutting fincar/proscar?

just wondering what ppl use to cut their pills? the thing i'm worried about is that i cut the pill in half and half again...and it'll be so small and unsubstantial a piece that it couldn't possibly do anything once it reaches my stomach.

also, i'm worried about cutting it and leaving little pill "crumbs"...is it worth the investment to get a pill cutter or do i just use a normal knife?

i just use a sharp razor-blade (like one for cutting hair)

make sure to only cut 1 pill at a time and not all at once

keep the split pills in a airtight container away from sun light

A pill cutter is $3.00 at WalMart. No crumbs.
