So I posted here last summer and was told I was crazy, since then I have been dealing with a small spot newar my temple that's been affected by seborrheic dermatitis..it was the intial reason I posted last summer because I felt it was causing some hair fall....now a year later and I still have itching and some thinning even though I've used 2% keto once weekly sometimes twice....I don't feel like I've receded much just lost density in that area....is it normal to loose hair from SD? Here is a few pics a year apart. I need to figure this out because it's driving me nuts! BTW I'm 32 ...anyone see anything that should concern me? First pic is when I was 12 second 27 and the last two are from recent.

Trust me I know I seem crazy, but that one spot has been itching and red for over a year, simedays worse than others...if I comb it I always loose a hair or two from that spot and I can feel like a tingling burning sensation from my scalp part. The other side is thick and dense but the SD side is sparse especially when styling.....I could use a comb to scratch it for hours and I know that's probably causing thinning.. it all started with a few bumps that itched, haven't had those bumps since using keto....but could regrowth cause itching?

Go to your doctors as it sounds like a bacterial infection.
Problem is I saw a dermatologist a few months ago who prescribed keto and said n def had SD from the white scales she saw present....but I asked about hair fall and she said quickly thats male pattern baldness just try rogaine and left the room quickly. She literally didn't even look through my hair much even with a microspoe and I felt as if she was just saying that but obviously it scared me....some derms just dont give a fuk I guess..she seemed to be annoyed by me.

Yeah go to your regular doctor not a derm. Some anti-fungal cream will sort it out. If it persists then you can get pills that kill it completely but if you don't get it anywhere else like feet, arm pitts, groin etc just stick to the cream.

Thank you murkey, I hope that's all it is....I feel like my hair's trying to grow in that area but keeps getting thwarted by random inflammation that makes me itch and dislodge new hire trying to grow....my GP who I saw before the dermatologist said I had low vitamin d from blood tests but I knew it was more than that.....also my beard is getting thicker and I'm starting to have chest hairs pop out....I've never had chest hair..

You need to sort out that vitamin D too. Major cause of hair loss & depression.

It sounds generally that you should be looking after yourself a little better. May be change of diet and a good multi vitamin would help your immune system.

Yeah your right but i take very good care of myself tbh.....I workout daily and eat very healthy and good foods.....I take broccomax for the sulforphane benefits and vitamin d and biotin multiviatamins....drink gallons of water daily and Greeks yogurts....I just got a blood test to do for food allergies waiting for results .... I've been doing tons a research and just can't figure this out. I hope your right and it turns out to be something as simple as an infection.
