That's a difficult one.. I also have a bad hair whorl and I'm constantly paranoid whether it's getting bigger or not. Your hairline might be starting to recede a little bit but nothing scary as of now. I think people are not replying because if there's hair loss, its in the very early stages, plus you probably don't have older pics of your crown that we can compare with, do you?

Oh and by the way, your hair looks extremely weak and fragile. How often do you wash it and with what? Do you use a conditioner?

I think it's thinning as your hair line is a little receded.

The only pics i have are with very short hair (1, or 2 guard) and all it shows is just the swirl pattern. This is really the only spot I've noticed and i can only tell when hair is wet and holds down heavy. I don't have shedding other than the normal that falls out in shower. Which i can see bc hair is long.

I shampoo once a week and condition everyday. I haven't had a trim in a LONG time probably 6 months bc I'm growing it out...different shampoo or do i need to trim dead ends?

I'm not too concerned about hairline as I've always had a high line on top of forehead.

Every other place is very thick. Not sure if it is a bald spot or I'm just plain paranoid.

Maybe visit a specialist (Dermatologist) and listen to their professional opinion

Other then the cost and having insurance there is no downside to seeing a dermatologist in person for an opinion from an experienced professional who probably diagnosis a lot of cases of male pattern baldness. They arent perfect, but they see a lot of cases of male pattern baldness all the time so they are familiar with it.
male pattern baldness isnt that visible to others until it reaches a certain point, but IMO you should wait until its a for sure thing before you embark on propecia. You cant avoid propecia right now if you have male pattern baldness, and its not a risk free thing.
