Crown Pic....Help

Alright guys, I took this pic today of the back and it looks to me like it shows some male pattern baldness......what do you guys think. Click on it to enlarge

it can be, your hair is jet black and your scalp is white, the contrast is huge which makes it appear worse. i would recommend just keeping an eye on it, maybe take a picture every few months and compare. if it's really bothering you maybe go see your doctor and ask him which treatments he thinks are right for you.

At this point any treatment past nizoral and a 2% rogaine solution to the vertex would be really overkill. When you really start losing your hair, you'll know.

I agree with dietcola, keep an eye on it, be concerned but not worried. Check your family for male pattern baldness history. It is important not only if your father or your uncles are bald, but when did they go bald? Right now you have NO problem, but if this spot goes larger, then you can get into treatments.

There's no thinning its just the natural 'whirl' pattern of your crown its slightly unusual but imo its not m.p.b. Also the rest of your hair looks very thick.
