Crown Getting A Lot Worse On Finasteride

Been on finasteride for 3 months. When I first started i had an enlarged cowlick crown i would say, that wasn't noticeable at all. After all of this finasteride shedding, my crown has gone thin all over. Now I have noticeably thin/close to bald spots all over crown. The hair fall is so bad, thick healthy looking hairs flow off my crown daily. Can't even style hair to cover it anymore.

Also since starting finasteride my crown gets tingly and itchy a lot. This did not happen pre finasteride.

Anyone have this happen to them? Or grew back the shed hair afterwards? Am I having a bad reaction?

This is what I’m afraid of as well..

How was your hair situation before you started? And I think posting pics would help!

I just looked at some pics of you. Did you get confirmed by a derm that you have male pattern baldness?

Any updates? Has the hair loss carried on at the same rate
Pretty much has carried on at the same rate. But my hair isn't looking as bad as I thought it would. It doesn't make sense I lose 200+ hairs every day no matter what, yet my hair still isn't too bad yet. Probably because i had great hair density before my hair loss started. I'm still on .5 finasteride and just did my first microneedling treatment last night.
