Crazy Hairloss Pattern, Is This Usual Androgenetic Alopecia?

Hey guys,

I'ma diffuse thinner, the whole top of my head is thinned out. But I also thinning at the sides in a very crazy pattern. It looks like a failed FUT ore something but I never had a hair transplant. Do you guys have any ideas?

I'm a finasteride non-responder btw...

Did you ever get your blood checked? How is your thyroid?

You are thinning outside of the Norwood area, which means that this hair loss is not male pattern baldness. It could be Alopecia Areata or something else. I would get it checked out with a dermatologist.

I did get my blood checked 7 years ago when everything started. I think the name for the thing I have is DUPA. Crazy...

For how long did you take finasteride? And you got your thyroid checked as well?

I took it 12 or 13 months and hairloss got much much worse. But I'm a great Minoxidil responder. I don't know if thyroid was checked.

Isn't DUPA generalised thinning over your whole scalp? What you have is thinning in a clearly-defined area outside of the Norwood zone. I don't know what it could be but I think you should get it checked with a derm.

I've never seen anyone with such a bad loss at the sides like me, even if I google for it. Wtf is this sh*t?
