I have booked my hair transplant date and now found out that a coworker of mine is getting married. His wedding functions are 11 and 13 days after the transplant. My only option would be to wear a hat to the function but won't that really stand out? Any suggestions or advice? Thanks guys!

easy answer.......dont go

no way u can wear a hat

and 13 days you may still have some scabs,

you want those to fall off naturally, dont pick at them.
and usually even when they do fall out it is still a little red

make it easy for yourself and just dont go

thanks guys! i completely agree that 13 days won't be enough time to go to the wedding without a hat, i haven't decided on fut vs fue but leaning towards fut.

what about the idea of wearing a hat to the wedding though? like not a cap but a beret or something like that? i dont really care about looking good, ill hardly know maybe 4 or 5 ppl there. that way at least the coworker would know i made the effort and came. and if people ask me to take it off or why im wearing one, i could come up with some excuse. what do you guys think? thanks again

the same thing happened to me this year, only it as a family member. Luckily I was able to postpone the procedure by a month an juggle some work around...

That being said this is a wedding, not a birthday part. a beret won't really cut it. unless that has been your fashion norm and no one will think twice about it? even then its questionable. You need at least a good month to recoup, even that would depend on the type of procedure...

Either don't and mention it is because of a surgery you have scheduled ( mention something else, not a hair transplant) or postpone your procedure. unfortunately barely 2 weeks out is not enough time

Cant see you being able to go, you'll look ridiculous in a hat. I'd just pretend to be enthusiastic about it and then feign a bad case of the flu.

lol that was pretty funny. I was like, "wait, didn't I just read that?"

He was probably trying to quote you in agreement.

it took over 6 months for me to look even close to pre surgery.

there is NO WAY you can pull it off I don't care what anyone says otherwise

I had a month and a half and still couldn't come close to normal
