Cowlick Or Balding? Hearing A Mixed Reaction From People

Hi guys! This is my first time posting on this site and I'm trying to figure out what I have on my crown is balding or just a cowlick? The first photos are from June right after this terrible haircut I had leading up to the last picture I took today.

Yea talk to a dermatologist or hair transplant doctor. 75% chance you are balding. Take weekly pictures to see if it progresses

If it really is balding get on finasteride and rogaine for your best chance to keep it

Keeping hair is easy. Regrowing it is hard.

Something Is definitely going on with your hair, best bet is visiting a Doctor and getting it confirmed, but I'd say you are diffuse thinning, early stages.

I agree that there is something going on, but wouldn't diffuse mean that sh*t is going down all over his scalp? I think he just has some early crown thinning, his hair line still looks perfect.

It's called a vertex or crown, and some people's are just more pronounced than others. the very center of the vertex is generally supposed to be the baldest part of your scalp, even if you are not balding. Your's looks perfectly normal to me. Don't let these fools scare you. But if you are concerned now, see a dermatologist or hair-loss specialist. but I'm putting my money on the probability that you're not going bald. Your hairline also seems good from the pics.

Hey guys so I just wanted to give you all a picture update of my hair and see if you guys notice anything different or have any ideas on what it could be? These pictures were taken recently( P.S the first pic is when my hair is wet and the last one is when I just woke up)

You're probably thinning a bit in the crown, but nothing big. finasteride is a good option, maybe even try minoxidil of you don't want to deal with possible sides.

Double cowlick. A person with one cowlick, will never spot a double cowlick if he ever sees one. Asking people here is pointless, visit a dermatologist.

I agree with Stan, it looks like a double cowlick, i have a friend who has one a bit worse than you and it did not progress bur funnily enough his hairline has began to recede! I could be wrong but just keep an eye on it and maybe buy some finasteride just incase

Lol I do the same thing man, I'll take a sh*t and snap photos of my hair because the lighting is so harsh, gives good perspective. Well played.
