Hi all,

wanted to get people's opinions on whether or not i'm starting to lose hair at my crown. I'm 26.
family history:
paternal grandfather: mostly full head of hair with slight recession
maternal grandfather: full head of hair till 40. gradual thinning till late 80s until it stopped
father: full head of hair with juvenile hairline

pictures from 2013: https://imgur.com/a/zmvZv
pictures from 2015: https://imgur.com/a/Aewz1

I've uploaded pictures of the crown from this year (2018). Most of these are taken either with a flash camera or in front of a window with direct sunlight. I've included one with normal lightning. Also I apologize if some are at weird angles. Thought I'd try something different for a few pics ha.

I appreciate any input. Cheers

Looks worse now compared to the photos from 2013. Looks too big/see through to be a cowlick.

Your 3rd photo is pretty telling

I'd say slow progression of male pattern baldness. You could probably recover your crown well with treatment.

Thanks for the replies. Is this something where I can get on 1mg/day finasteride (and take it with a multivitamin which I already take daily) and forget about it?
