Couvre "white" not quite undetectable

I just ordered Couvre, (color:white), as I have white/silver hair. Okay, I'm old :laugh: Anyway, I tried putting it on, it's sort of like a makeup. Problem is, it seems pretty noticable. Maybe it's just that the hair is "too" thin for it to work, but my girlfriend definitely noticed it. I comb it back and had hoped it wouldn't shine through. I'm a diffuse thinner and use it primarily on the top/middle of the scalp.

I like Toppik best so far. I was hoping to use them together though, you know cover the base of the scalp with Couvre and then tap in some Toppik. Any tips or advice on how to apply the Couvre without it being so noticable? Should I apply while hair is still wet, or after it's dry?

Also, have any of the more "senior" members used the "white"?
