Couple questions

Hey Guys,

New to the forum. I have male pattern baldness on both sides of my family. I started taking finasteride about 6 years ago when i started noticing my hair receding. If felt it stopped my hair in its tracks, but the last year have noticed my hair line starting to recede again and starting to thin up top. I have been doing some reading and think i need to go to the big 3. I started rogaine about 2 months ago, but have not been consistent with applying it daily.

Here are my questions:

1. Is Nizoral the same as Keto? Isn't Nizoral for dandruff? Just use this twice per week right?
2. I've been using Nioxin shampoo for a few months. Any other good shampoos i should be using?
3. Do you think i should jump up to Dutasteride since finasteride seems to have stopped working as well for me?

1) Yes, yes, yes.
2) Dunno.
3) Potentially, if you've had a side-free journey on finasteride and can conclude its lost its potential (which I don't think happens, just your male pattern baldness might have taken a turn for the worse, even still?) Dutasteride would be good potentially.

No i didn't change where i get my finasteride. I will look into dutasteride. Thanks for the input!
