Could this hair situation still be salvaged?

This is my hair today, at age 34, ten years after the start of thinning, having never used treatments with the exception of six months of finasteride back in 2015.

The hair is badly diffused throughout, but the most impacted areas are the crown and the front, so my thought is that a transplant could possible restore these two areas. Obviously my former density cannot be recovered, but there may be a possibility of at least having a decent-looking hairline and a somewhat filled-out crown. The entire middle area will remain sparse, but with a transplant and a short haircut maybe I can at least look normal.

As things are right now, my quality of life is virtually non-existent. Despite my best efforts through meditation and non-attachment to the world, hair loss continues to dominate my consciousness, and my only joy comes when I am high on drugs. It seems to me that the problem should be addressed, and if a treatment is available then the opportunity should be exercised.
