Could things really be going to sh*t this quickly?

Its been about 2 months since it dawned on me that I'm undergoing Androgenetic Alopecia. Since then things seem to be worsening rapidly. I'm experiencing diffuse loss and the hairs falling out are miniturized.

About 5 weeks ago I started finasteride and stopped after a week to do research.

About 3 weeks ago I started microdosing 0.04mg and did this for about 10 days the stopped (reason unknown)

Now I am easing back into finasteride and it seems I'm going to have to go with a full dose considering the way things are going.

I've heard that finasteride can initially cause some shedding but I doubt its the case after just one month.

What the heck is going on? Does diffuse Androgenetic Alopecia reach a "tipping point"?

Maybe since you started to notice you were thinning you have been looking alot more closely at your head. I believe this is what happened to me. At first I thought my hairloss was only at the temples, but then one day I decided to take a picture of my crown and I was horrified. Now I can see that I am diffusely thinning all over :(, but I believe if I didnt take that picture I probably still wouldnt have known that I was thinning on top.
