Shockwave therapy is used in clinics to break down scar tissue. If hairloss and fibrosis are hand in hand, could this be a plausible tool in the arsenal?

You know it could be. It can be used on different parts of the body, why not the scalp to break up calcification, open up blood vessels, grow new ones.
I am researching this very subject.. Sorry no one responded. It seems the Phoenix shockwave is an at home model equivalent to Storz doctor office one.
