My crown is looking quite thin, first photo is under a phone light and the others are sunlight.

My hair has grown very long so would this make it look thinner?

Please let me know.

I am 22 years old if that helps!

No. Just way how your crown hair looks like. It is done with strong light at some pictures so it may see like it is thinning, but it is not.

Thanks for your reply. Has anyone ever seemed that hair is stronger looking when there is gel/wax applied?

I have felt my left temple getting thinner over time but when I have short hair, the temples seem to thicken out.

So usually because of lockdown at the minute I do not use any hair products whatsoever. I applied some the other day and my hair appeared to look like there is no recession/thinning.

The picture with the headband is my hair with no product and the others are with gel slicked back.

It looks very wispy as opposed to when product is applied?

Is this something anyone finds aswell?

Nothing again. You are overreacting, I know that feeling. In fact if don't mind i will use your hairline as an example to show dr in future how i want my hairline to be fix. If you are getting crazy about it, i recomend to you oral minoxidil, 1mg in my case does miracle. Stay away from finasteride however.

lol, "stay away from finasteride" right after recommending blood pressure medication associated with various cardiovascular health risks that can potentially cause heart failure in certain people. bravo, well done.

to op: your hair is perfect. if you have a feeling you're thinning (which you don't appear to be, at all) continue monitoring your hair and reassess in a half a year or something. no need to jump on any meds at the moment and please be careful with advice from armchair docs on internet forums.

Hi
You might be thinning, but you might also just be paranoid. After all, you joined this site three years ago at age 19, but you are just now posting photos wondering if you "might" be thinning? Not going to look over your old posts, but what have you been doing here? Wondering if you might be thinning that whole time since you were 19?
Im edging towards you being paranoid. Either way, your hair looks good right now. Keep these photos and look at it again in another year. I wouldnt bother with any medication or anything yet because you might not even have a problem. Dont look at it for a year then try to take exactly the same pics with the same hairlength and style and lighting.

I am taking already almost a year of 1mg of Minoxidil, nothing happened except great hair. My blood prasure is as good as it should be, I had nose surgery in January, they checked blood before they did anything. So stop BS people here.
I took also finasteride after 3 months i had ED...
