Hi everyone, I know the title of this thread seems extremely unrealistic but I'm very curious about it in my situation. Let me explain where I'm at:
I have diffused thinning with recession. I have thinning in a NW6 pattern and have like a NW2.25 hairline. The thing though is that I have a lot of little black hairs growing aligned right where my NW1 hairline was. No, they are not these super small vellus white peach fuzz hairs, they're noticeable little black hairs all along where my NW1 hairline was. I've never experienced any slick baldness anywhere just to let everyone know.
I'm currently using Ketoconazole, Minoxidil, and LLLT to treat my male pattern baldness. I was able to make my NW1 hairline visible again, and that's just from using topical treatments. I'm going to be seeing a hair and scalp specialist in January 2015 and see if I can get a prescription for Dutasteride, at least Finasteride.
I obviously don't expect my hair to come back 100%, but my main question is: Do you think I could revive some of my hairline if I get on a 5-AR inhibitor?
