Could being on Finasteride hinder beard growth

I'm on finasteride since may 2015 (22 years old now), should i jump off if i want my beard will grow full and defined? Am i hindering my beard development through using Finasteride?

You are hindering your beard growth being on Finasteride, but personally I would rather have my light stubble and thick head of hair over a thick beard and a slick bald head.

But does it actually affect beard growth? I mean, is there any proof?

I think its both. That is why finasteride or dutasteride doesnt completely stop facial hair. Its like DHT triggers it to grow, and T is responsible for the density/thickness. They both contribute most likely I mean T is by far the most abundant male hormone so it makes sense it probably does something

my beard 100% doesnt push as fast when im on finasteride, i actually enjoy it cause i could go the whole week without a beard lineup, now that im off, i need a lineup every 3 days.
