In the U.S. we have Costco (wholesale warehouse stores). I got my prescription for generic finasteride there.

I recieved an 8 month supply for get this...$39.71!!!!!

60 5mg pills (when you cut them into 4 you get 240 days worth).

It's a certified place to get anything there at Costco. HIGHLY doubt the finasteride is not good.

Anyone out there know a better and cheaper place to buy finasteride at? That is for sure official finasteride?

Am I wrong? Is there a better place?

I'm new so I know I might be wrong and I at least did a whole lot of research. The Doctor that prescribed me (a hair transplant Doctor) told me that Costco will have the cheapest finasteride available and that ONLINE IS WHERE FAKE PROPECIA IS SOLD.

The Doctor wrote up a prescription originally for 1mg of finasteride and not Propecia. I knew 1mg was gonna cost me big thanks to this site. So I asked him about Proscar.

He then crossed off the 1 on 1mg and put a 5 in its place. Just for FINASTERIDE.

He didn't write down generic but I'm guessing he knew what I wanted since I wasn't looking for the HIGHLY expensive stuff.

COSTCO. GET A MEMBERSHIP. SAVE $$$$. JUST LIKE IT DID FOR ME. DO IT.

Hope this helped you and everyone else reading.

Good deal, I get 90 5g pills for $20 but m insurance covers that.

What do the pills you got look like ? i used to get round pills which were easily cut in 1/4's. On my last refill I got oval pills, (like classic tylenol red/white capsule shape) that are a litlle tricky to cut into 1/4's.

Since I pay $20 a year for finasteride I may cuth them i 1/3's and see if I get even better results

They are little round shaped blue pills. Easy to cut into four since I got a cheap pill cutter at Walgreens. They have a spiral sign on it. The finasteride is made from Amedi Pharmacy.

Hope this helped!

I have the same as Charlie Brown. Amedi.

HT55 I wouldn't be surprised if yours were Dr. Reddy's. They supply his brand in the States now. My buddy has the same and they are shaped exactly as Tylenol.

Well all I'm trying to say is that if anyone trying to find a legit place to get their finasteride from other than possibly get scammed or worried if their finasteride is real or not, that COSTCO IS A GREAT LEGIT PLACE TO BUY FINASTERIDE FROM.

That is all. Good luck!

They come from Aetna pharmacy and it's a pharmacuetical name which I'll have to look at but def not Dr Reddy's as I would remember that

My first post here on HairLossTalk.com.

I second CharlieBrown! I also buy it from Costco and highly, highly advocate that everyone who is looking for generic finasteride go to Costco. If you have a script from a Doctor there is absolutely no reason to buy from an overseas source. And to top it off you don't have to be a Costco member to use their pharmacy services.

We're talking roughly $5 a month for 100% legit Finasteride!

Costco = :bravo:
