Costco Generic Finasteride Triples In Price?

So, I've been paying 24 bucks for 90 tablets of 1mg Finasteride from Costco's online pharmacy. I just received an email saying the new price is $65 for 90 tablets.

Has anyone else experienced this or is it just in my area? It seems beyond strange that the cost of a generic medication would triple in cost from what it was just 3 months ago.

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing the same price increase.

I started finasteride 3 weeks ago and bought it for $65 for 90 pills at costco

That sucks. I just filled a 90 day supply for around $20 not too long ago. The price increase does suck, but ~$20/month still isn't bad. For some reason, the price of prescription drugs can fluctuate. I filled my original generic finasteride from Target Pharmacy for $67.99, the following year the same generic pills were $100.
