i`m 60 years old, use 10 mg/OM daily since 20 years, still don`t have eye bags, heart problems, or whatever sides......maybee i make something wrong ?

No eye bags at 60? Crock of sh*t. xD and 10mg daily is still not healthy. Do you get prescribed a diuretic from your Doctor? Because it will cause water retention at that dosage.

not only fat people got high blood pressure, even kids have it.........i never had sides from oral Minoxit, no water retention at all......
it`s like always with sides from medications, they can occur, if you are very unlucky...but don`t have to, if 50 % of the users would get sides, it wouldn`t be on the market anymore

Have you checked if you have water around your heart? A guy got it from just 2.5mg. and what are your thoughts about minoxidill blocking collagen synthesis?

how i could check if i would maybee have water around my heart ??......maybee you know, let me know how.....and if, what means water around the heart...it`s bad ?
I even don`t check about, who cares....to get any sides from it/or finasteride, it`s like winning in the lottery, like all the other medications, 1 from 1 million gets unlucky and get sides...if you are really afraid about this, you can`t take any hair medications, also not the stuff that is now in the pipeline and will come next....
Blocking collagen.....maybee yes, maybee not....i don`t know how i would look like, if i never would have taken minoxidil...younger ?, yes maybee, but how i could know.....
But i know i would have much less hair without minoxidil, so even if, i would prefer to save my hairs....

I can only speak from personal experience and from what i have seen.
- No one is dying from oral minoxidil. It's not life-threatening or extremely dangerous to overall health.
- That said, there are still undesirable side effects, which are very much dose dependent. The biggest one I have noticed is water retention (facial bloating, eye bags) which is going to be more prominent if you already have a chiseled face. Rounder faces it may not be as noticeable. I have noticed that this can also be somewhat altered with timing of the drug, though.
- The other undesirable side effect is light headedness. Your blood pressure will drop, and if you stand up quickly you may almost feel like you will pass out. But I would say this happens mostly only at higher doses. I don't think it's life-threatening, but it is annoying to have to worry about going about your day.
- Side effects are minimal at less than 2.5mg. I think most people may experience mild water retention, but I have pretty much never gotten blood pressure sides at this dose.
- Side effects are guaranteed and prominent at 5mg or higher. You are pretty much guaranteed to deal with some water retention and light headedness. I don't believe it's super harmful to your health, but I wouldn't want to deal with that for an extended period of time. Not a long-term and sustainable dosage, IMO.
I'd recommend most people stick with nothing higher than 2.5mg. Would only go beyond that if you are desperate/suicidal. When taking most drugs it's important to consider what is the MINIMAL effective dosage. If you take something like 1mg you are likely going to at least get some benefits but without big side effects. It's way more convenient than topical anyways. That said, it's not for everyone. I don't blame LB88 for not taking it.
The collagen thing is hard to say definitively. The study was done in vitro. Also, as Kevin Mann rightly brings up, it increases elastin to compensate. I don't think it has a major impact on overall skin health. That said, it's still possible that it's not good for it. I just don't think that it's a major thing. Otherwise all these people taking 10mg would look noticeably worse, and would be reporting it. The last thing I would say is that your skin might look worse because the water retention is blowing up the skin like a balloon causing wrinkle to possibly look more noticeable.

Well I get sides from dutasteride, finasteride, and oral min. And all those drugs didnt do anything positive for my hair. Thats all im saying. Im NOT scared of the drugs. I was on dutasteride for 1.5 years and 15-20mg oral min for 5 months. Now I live with permanent negative sexuall changes with my body after using dutasteride/finasteride. Side effects can stay despite quitting. It even says so on the finasteride/dutasteride side effect leaflet.
