You won't be using a 'copper sulfate' in your regimen. You will be using a COPPER PEPTIDE (liquid solution or cream/lotion) in your regimen, if you so choose.

Zinc tablets are just like any other vitamin.. take them in a regular daily allowance dosage and you will be fine. Most of the time you get zinc in your food diet so you don't always need to supplement with a tablet/vitamin.

Control your intake of zinc, don't take too much there is no need. Stay at about 15 - 50 mg a day if you take a supplement tablet/vitamin. You probably won't notice a difference anyway.

You can use a pyrithione zinc based anti-dandruff shampoo such as Head & shoulders. Rotate it with your other shampoos as part of your regimen if you so wish. The active ingredient in these shampoos is pyritione zinc, which is helpful for removing dandruff and preventing it, and also for conditioning the scalp and controlling itch. There are different formulas available depending on your scalp type. For example; dry scalp care, sensitive, cool menthol, etc.

Don't think of copper [peptides], zinc, and pyrithione zinc as being 'in the same category'. They are not. They are seperate and used for seperate issues.

Copper peptide sprays such as Folligen or Tricomin (both are popular brands, I prefer Tricomin) can also be used daily. I find when my hair is somewhat damp, after a shower is best to apply my Tricomin using a medicine dropper to spread it all over the scalp. Use as much as you feel comfortable with daily, if you so please. It is good for you.

spironolactone 2% = Anti androgen / blocks DHT (maintanence)

Tricomin = Primarily a Growth Stimulant (regrowth of hair) with some DHT blocking ability

Hope that makes it clearer for you

Just in case my last post wasnt clear enough both Tricomin and Folligen are Copper Peptide sprays. There is also one called American Crew Revitalise spray which may be available in your country and contains copper peptides.

Dietary Copper and Zinc are antagonists as they both compete for the same absorption pathways, this is not a problem as all you have to do is get the ration betwen them correct.
