That's only about 30-40 hairs in that oucs which could be normal right? When was the last time you showered

But that's only like 50-100 hairs your claiming to loose every 48 hours since you shower every other day. Why are you worried, that seems to be normal amount according to most derms.

We have the same sh*t man. Lol but it’s not too different in the mirror. I post pics and people don’t see that much of a difference but I’m pretty sure I’m losing ground. I mean you can be losing 200 terminal hairs a day and be maintaining. How are you doing?

My hair is still thinning but at a much slower pace than before. I lose around 40-120 hairs in the shower and I wash my hair daily. If I can somehow turn back the hairloss clock to 1 year ago and maintain ill be good but it doesnt look like thats gonna be happening.

Right now im on 0.5mg per day but sometime this week im gonna get a prescription for proscar and do 1.25mg per day instead.

At 29 though arent u seeing a lot of ur friends have hairloss too? How is the hair status of most late 20s guys you know? Most guys in early 20s still have zero noticable hairloss but im sure a lot of ur friends who had good hair in their early 20s are probably balding worse than you now right?

I can’t try DUTA after having sides kn even topical Finasteride. I’m hopeless, lucky I had such a crazy dense baseline. The rate of loss however is too much.

well that doesnt look like much, i might upload my bathroom hair shed pic 2morow, that has legitemately 250-300 hairs a shower, i went from extremely densely packed to see through skin in 2 years. im also wondering, when will be the time for me to make decision if to keep rolling with finasteride or switch to duta

Didn’t you just get on finasteride a week ago after like a year of being scared?

yeah, i did. thats what im saying. if my hair loss doesnt stop say in 3 months, at what point should i get on duta?
also absolutely fucked up thing is that there's no DHT blood test in labs in my city.

DHT tests aren’t accurate for scalp DHT anyway. But idk man I’m 10 months on finasteride and thinner than ever. I’m thinking about switching too. I’d give it some time to work. It’ll most likely work, and your hair looks pretty good for the most part. Live your life bro.

I would say atleast give it a year before switching to dutasteride.

Yes, but who knows what would’ve happened without it.

Do all the hairs you shed have whit bulbs at the end of them?

I dont think the white bulb really means anything to be honest. When I had my massive shed of 500+ per shower per day almost all of them had white bulbs. Whether you can see the bulb or not the only thing that matters is if those hairs grows back and if they got thicker or thinner in diameter.

I should have old pics somewhere. It was a nightmare man. It all happened all of a sudden too. That was around 11 months ago. Today I showered and shampood with nizorol and lost 30 hairs at max.

What do you guys think? Here is a picture of my hair part doesn’t he middle. First is current ago second is almost a year ago. Is it time to add something or change something up?

It doesnt look significantly worse than a year ago. I cant even tell if it got worse at all. I see slightly more gaps between the hairs in the recent one but that may just be due to differences in parting it.

Did your shed start only after you started taking the meds? Or did you take the meds because you saw a lot of hairs dropping but then it continued to stay the same?
