Considering Shaving what's left, but can't....

All these meds don't seem to be doing anything. I am seriously considering shaving it all off BUT my scalp is too inflamed and has tiny bumps all over (probably from the minoxidil, Spito and Retin-A). Now I am sure if I use a blade I will cut myself all over the scalp. Not only will I be totally bald, but I will have potentially bleeding bumps all over my scalp!Who else has faced this predicament before? I know I am basically F***ed but thought I'd post anyways.

Let your scalp heal before you shave it. Congrats on taking the plunge and liberating yourself from these drugs...have you checked out the shaving website? http://www.slybaldguys.com ? Lots of help and support there for people considering to shave it.

Everyone should try shaving their head at least once. It could save you a ton of worry and money.

viper, buzz it real close before shaving. You get the idea of what you'll look like bald and maybe have some time to get used to it. People will probably notice that you're balding, but you can't hide it forever anyways.

But all guys i saw on that forum are not atractive. A great face is very important to wear the shaved look. David Beckham is the perfect example.

I have posted on that forum. Not everyone there looks horrible, but some do. They still look better shaved compared to the horseshoe look I reckon. At least they got a good attitude compared to most posters here (including me).

That's a shitty thing to say. Unless you have some scar from surgery gone bad or something similar, I don't see why anyone can't sport a shaved head.

A great face has nothing to do with it. Some of you need to get off the celebrity teat and stop referring to them as the epitome of great hair or lack thereof.

I agree with that, face shape being the most important.
