Considering Dutasteride

After over a year on finasteride I'm considering dutasteride. I started off on a low dosage of finasteride before working up to 1 mg a day. After about 6 months for a few months it seemed to work, but now I seem to be losing a lot of hair again and I'm receeding fast. People have said that this might be me shedding, but this has been going on since about May - surely too long to be considered a shed? I'm thinking of giving it til christmas to see how I get on and if things don't improve I'm going to try dutasteride.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on dutasteride and whether to stick with the finasteride for a while or ditch it sooner?

finasteride no longer working? **** dude how much hairloss had you experienced when you first started using it? (just curious)

It only seemed to work for a very small amount of time (a few months) which I can't seem to figure out. I'm wondering whether to stick with it in the hope that it might start working again or just ditch it and go with dutasteride? Probably nw2 when I started and nw3 now
