i have the same amount of temple recession and growing it out to 2-3 inches is optimal for my master combover journey back to nw2. Just cut your front a tiny bit lower than the rest of your hair and your sides grown out will cover your temples nicely.

No need to buzz it yet you got plenty of hair, if my advice doesnt work find a hair stylist that will make it work somehow

DO IT. I will lend you encouragement if that's what you need. At some point, it's better to just say f*** it. You're gonna be fine either way, but I'd say take the plunge; I'd imagine it'd ultimately be a huge relief to have just said "to hell with it".

Personally, I think your head-shape/jawline will allow you to pull it off better than I do. Also, you look fairly muscular which is borderline critical if you're young and bald.

Buzz cut is (for me) an option when you go beyond norwood 3. You can still pull off some decent hairstyles. However, looking at your pictures I'm pretty sure you would look awesome in a buzz cut. You got the head shape for it. So if worse comes to worst and go you beyond norwood 3, you can take comfort in having the right head shape for a buzz cut.

I'm a norwdood 1.5-2 with some minor recession going on, no big deal (yet) and I buzz my hair. Think it looks decent and most important - total freedom. Sure I don't look as handsome as with hair, but still..

No to the buzz yet. Do this first, take photos so we can compare. No bare spot on the crown allows you to play up what you have.

Oddly enough, you almost seem to have MORE hair now that you buzzed it!! Congrats! I'd stay with this look, btw.
