man, i knew he has been bald for a long while, but i had no idea he was wearing a hair piece in the bond films. that was one (a few) good toupee.

No your wrong about Connery he didnt lose his hair till the early 70's
he only wears a toupee in the last bond movie he did in the 80s when he was in his fiftys
If you watch some of his movies from the 70s you can see his hair getting thinner

I think hes one of the few guys who looks better bald, i know lots of girls who think who think he still looks sexys

sean connery was never really good looking. people just said he was good looking for an old guy and his voice..but if you ask them if they'd date him.. 99% of them would say no. if they do it's because of his fame and money..but without that people wouldn't give him a second look ever in his life. i mean give me a break.. people think barry white's voice is sexy. but would they date him? no

I don't know....I watched a ton of Bond movies yesterday and I would say in You Only Live Twice (1967) that he definately had a toupee...a good one...but a slightly obvious one to our trained eyes (see first post). Most sites claim he lost it early...there are a ton of them that report this.

I thought everybody knew this, he went bald really early on, before he got famous. I remember him talking about it on the Tonight Show a few years ago. What's cool is that it doesn't bother him in the slightest. I crave that kind of indifference.

I think I remember that Luther007. Was that when he said he'd wear an 'irish'? Guess that's another name for toupe.

Anyway, he must've been a very good actor early on. I'd think going in to many auditions they'd see the hairloss and cut him without considering slappin' a toupe on his dome.
