I have been going through much stress for the last few years, now it's seemingly beginning to really take effect.

Taken after a shower... I have very curly hair, it's in vrry good condition as well. What do you think of this? =/

This is how it looks after drying, http://i.imgur.com/j60h6RR.jpg

Well, your hair reminds a lot of mine actually.

A tips, do not cut it short... I think our curls cover the scalp when hair is long. Right now I have a terrible lengt, and a hair full of 1/4 and 1/2 curls.... looks lika a mess!

Some people say diffuse pattern male pattern baldness, and some other say stress/depression syndrome. Mine started in your age, and I have the same now when I am 25 (So it is not getting any worser), and I have not taken any medication. To much side effects in my opinion.

Can you please take photo on your skalp when your hair is dry? And from back if you can?

It's thickest in the back.
On top, my scalp is very visible...

Even if my hair blows back, you can see where it parts. It's not as bad as it looks in the photo, the lighting makes it look worse.

Yeah, we have similar hair thinning problem. How is your hair line? Mine is still the same, it is only the scalp who is thin.

I have ordered biotin vitamins recently. Maybe they will help?

Who about your father uncles and grand father? (On both sides). male pattern baldness is very genetic.

I will follow this thread also, because I have similar problem.

Both my father and uncle are balding. My uncle only just recently is showing signs, and he's in his early 50's. My father didn't start until his 40's. My grandfather is also completely bald on the top of his head, but I've no idea when he lost his hair.

I really think my hair loss has to do more with such insane stressing, at this age, than hereditary issues.

My hairline is beginning to recede on one side.

Listen to this guy OP. You need to get on finasteride when you hit 18.

I can categorically say that your hairloss has nothing to do with stress and everything to do with the fact you are genetically predisposed to balding. We all go through stress when we are in our teens with exams, girlfriends, grandparents croaking etc.. I was massively in denial and blamed my hairloss on stress, diet, lack of exercise...

Don't make the same mistake many of us here did.

Well, that blows. I'll have to consult a doctor and see what goes on from there. Goodness... It doesn't come much as a shock to me anymore as I've been telling myself to accept that one day this would happen, but it still really sucks.
