Okay so I was doing some research on mesotherapy as it's been recommended by my dermatologist, I found this interesting study done by injecting minoxidil intradermally once every week for 8 weeks then reducing the sessions afterwards, compared to using topical 2% minoxidil. This study was done on female patients suffering from FPHL and the results were better with weekly injections.

There are times when I'm just sick of minoxidil and don't want to apply it, so do you think that weekly minoxidil injections wouldn't cause hair loss of the regrown hairs? I wouldn't have weekly treatments forever but let's say I want to take a one month break and then resume the normal topical application would that be too risky?

And what are the costs of this? İn the end it is a mesotheraphy and no Doctor makes that for free?

I get a minoxidil every 3-4 months and at a much higher dose than normal. İt makes the hair strong, shiny etc again, but just for a short period of time (2-3 months)

Weekly would be quite expensive, especially in Europe/USA

I'm in the middle east and here it's not very expensive, around 30 euros or so per session, it is considered expensive here because of low wages but in the end I can afford the first ten sessions and a maintenance one every two months, so you're saying that you do Minoxidil mesotherapy, is it giving you more regrowth or better results?

İn fact it does give you 0 hair growth. I combine it with PRP other vitamins etc, the full package.

Approximately 2 weeks after the session you recognize that your hair gets strong(If it is broken or worn out) straightens/stands up again. Like a fresh haircut after months. Couldn't see any regrowth or much strengthening, so your minituarized and thinned hair will stay like they where.

Can you tell me how frequently you did the mesotherapy sessions? and did they include finasteride or dutasteride in the injections? I am seeing good regrowth with topical minoxidil and I though the mesotherapy with minoxidil would give me similar results at least so I'd still see regrowth and I would never completely stop the topical minoxidil, but my doctor said the mesotherapy stuff has dutasteride which will improve the miniaturaization as I can't take oral anti androgens for fear of side effects

Every 3-4 months for about 1.5 years and no dutasteride or finasteride
