Hey Admins

Love the new forum, except I was wondering if there was some way I can retrieve the info that use to be in my "View My Regimen" tab? I used to religiously update and store the details of my regimen there and have no other place I have written them down!! Perhaps you could PM me what was on my old profile?

Very good question, thanks for asking it. The View my Regimen button data is still stores on the old forums. When we reinstitute the button, the original information associated with it will also be there, and you will be able to edit it again from your profile.

seen on a couple other forums a quick reply feature. ie/ there is already a text box to type in at the bottom of the thread, so you can just type in and hit enter rather than hitting reply and then waiting for new box to load to write in. loved it when i was on a slow connection...

I don't believe that's available with this software but I will definitely ask and see about it. I know what you're referring to. Have used it on other forums, myself.

Yes, I can set that in the Admin Control Panel. Did you want more or less, and why or why not?

Yes. Unfortunately this is the latest version of a brand new infrastructure for this software, and the # of programmers proficient in working with it are few to none. I've been spending the last couple weeks evaluating programmers who can do it. Believe I found one who should be starting this week. ETA for regimen button of Monday the 15th-ish.

I would like to see more. I want as much information displayed in one column as possible.

The only reason it would be limited is for search engine ranking purposes. Better ranking means more people find the forums and get support. A lot of engines don't like long pages. They tend to shoot for article length pages with a certain min and max range of number of words on them.

I have found a programmer :woot: He began today. He is taking care of the upgrade for the women's site so they can enjoy all these new features too. Then the next step is the View My Regimen button.

Just to defend the owner here...

I can vouch how much more complicated this new forum is. There is so much more too it and it takes me so much longer to do even the most simple things. It will take time to figure it all out.

oo oo another idea.

it would be good to be able to rank the threads by posts and by ratings. and good to be able to rate threads as well.

for instance i jsut went into the shedding forum and was presented with lots of posts with just a few answers. I'm sure the gold in that forum is hidden pretty deep, if i could rank by amount of posts in the thread, or ratings of thread by users, it'd be far easier to find those old but extremely useful posts.
