I have heard that there is to be a 6% forumale with 0.1% finestride to be released soon. Which is good news to all of you not wanting to get your hair on something strong and have a topical DHT!

I wonder why it's 6% and not the common 5%?

I LOVE NUMBERS.

Thanks for the info anyways!

6%, why bother, it's only 1% stronger than currently.

There is no minoxidil formulation less than 15% that has finasteride in it. So for guys who want to use topical finasteride but don't want to use such a high amount of minoxidil then this is good news. Still don't understand why it's 6% though..

Wrong, Dr Klein makes Promox which has 5% minoxidil with finasteride and retin-a. You can get it without retin-a as well. I was thinking of trying it without Retin-A because I have brand new bottles of the liquid and the lotion and I cannot use either because it causes too much itchiness and I shed like crazy on it. However, I have to stop wasting money on treatments that do not make a huge difference.

What's wrong with the 15% stuff? Still confused why you wouldn't just use the 15 - it should work better than the lower concentrations...
Higher minoxidil could mean higher chances of more side effects. I get enough bloating from the 5% percent minoxidil foam and I use half of the recommended dose twice per day. Secondly, no studies have been shown that 15% is more effective than 5%. And thirdly, I have read so many posts stating they did not notice any significant difference between 5% vs the 15% except for Kiel. However, Dr Klein showed a study where his Promox topical of minoxidil, finasteride and retin-a did show a significant difference vs minoxidil by itself.

Yeah, but that study was reticolous. I've heard 4 people took part in it.

Oh yeah, and the pic in the study showed some progress with REMOX (does not contain Finasteride), which isn't Promox.
