Coming off propecia

Hi, I've been on finasteride for about 11 months and it has gave me some more regrowth and done good for my hair and such. I started with 1mg per day but noticed brain fog and fatigue so switched to every other day, them symptoms disappeared but now I've just been thinking about the long term risks and such and I want to come off. I've also noticed that my libido is at an all time low, I still get some urges and such but not where I should be.

So basically, what's the best way to come off? I've read that reducing the dose and spacing out the time you take it is best but I'm not sure how.

Would something like this be good? Had a 1mg today (jan 2nd) and half/quarter etc means the size of a normal tablet.

half Jan 4[SUP]th [/SUP]
half Thur 7[SUP]th[/SUP]
half Sun 10[SUP]th[/SUP]
half Wed 13[SUP]th[/SUP]
quarter Sat 16[SUP]th[/SUP]
quarter Thur 20[SUP]th[/SUP]
quarter Sun 24[SUP]th[/SUP]
quarter Thur 28[SUP]th[/SUP]
quarter Feb 1[SUP]st[/SUP]
quarter Sat 6[SUP]th[/SUP]
eighth Thur 11[SUP]th[/SUP]
eighth Tue 16[SUP]th[/SUP]
eighth Mon 22[SUP]nd[/SUP]
eighth Mon 29[SUP]th[/SUP]

Cheers.

I'd advised against it if you are experiencing regrowth/stablization, but if you want to get off thats your choice. I think a slow taper is good, unsure what it's like getting off Propecia and unaware of any withdrawal symptoms you may experience (if any). I did a slow taper of some ssri awhile back and used a very slow taper i was essentially microdosing at one point.

Good luck to whatever you choose
