Colour Matching Question - who dyes their unit to match better?

Hi all

I'm looking at getting a new system, but I'm having a dilemna over the colour. In the past, I've used #3 (brown) but my stylist has given me #2 recently, which initially is too dark, but as he correctly pointed out, does mean that the piece lasts longer because it fades to a perfect match after a short time. I don't really like the initial period though - a lot of people ask if I've dyed my hair!!

My question is: can I have the system dyed to be like a #2.5? Is this advisable?

I don't think you can because there is no #2.5 color. You will either get #2 or #3. Maybe what you can do is once the hair gets to the "#2.5" stage, you can send a color sample to your hair supplier and place a custom order.
