Colour difference

Generic Proscar which is from India is, I would say, Titanium white inside when cut in half, whereas the Proscar I got recently from Merick, is more of a creamy white. Is this colour difference normal? Should there be a marked and noticeable difference between the side effects of Fincar and Proscar?
